Est. 2023, Calella, Spain

The recordis yours.We dothe rest.

Personalised development, AI-assisted production tools, and publishing and distribution handled end to end — with one named contact from demo to release day.

The short version

We are small on purpose. You get a person, not a portal. The masters stay yours.

Scannata Records exists because the gap between a finished demo and a released record is mostly logistics, and logistics should not cost an artist their catalogue. We take on a handful of acts a year and work them properly — release plans written for one record, not a template applied to forty.

Everything we build for our roster comes back to the same test: does this leave the artist with more control at the end of the deal than at the start? If it does not, we do not sign it.

What the label actually does

Three things, done properly

01 — Development

Personalised artist focus

You get one A&R contact, their phone number, and a plan written for your record. We take four acts a year because that is how many we can answer within a day. No account managers, no ticketing system, no forwarding you to a partner agency in another country.

  • One named contact from demo to release day
  • Arrangement and mix notes before anything is committed
  • Release schedules built around your recording, not our quarter
  • Budgets shown in full — you see what the label spends

02 — Production

AI tools & copyright-free samples

A working sample library and a set of AI-assisted production tools, all of it cleared for commercial release. Stem separation, reference-matched mix passes, and a growing bank of samples generated in-house or donated by the roster — no third-party rights attached, nothing to license later.

  • Copyright-free sample library, cleared for commercial use
  • Stem separation and reference-matched mix assists
  • Sketch-to-arrangement tools for pre-production
  • Every asset documented, so the paperwork survives an audit

03 — Release

Publishing & distribution

Full-service publishing and distribution to Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and Tidal, with the registrations actually filed — PRO, mechanical, neighbouring rights. Masters stay in your name. We take a share of what we help earn and nothing else.

  • Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Tidal and the long tail
  • Publishing administration and PRO registration handled
  • Pitching to editorial with a real story, not a mass email
  • Quarterly statements you can read in one sitting

What our artists say

I sent three demos to three labels. Scannata replied in a day, with notes on the actual arrangement. The other two never replied at all.
Artist on SpotifyDistribution
They put the release plan on one page and stuck to it. I have worked with distributors who could not manage that in six months.
Artist on SoundCloudDemo submission
The sample library alone paid for itself. Cleared, documented, no publisher turning up two years later asking questions.

One track is enough. A private link, a sentence about what you are trying to make, and where you are based. We listen to everything and we answer, whether it is a yes or not.
